Room 5-223 V.I.P. Play Room August 2010 I usually stay in one of the guesthouses in the soi LK Metro area, but for this week long stint I decided I needed something more peaceful. I contacted board member Mr. Dancewatchers, who with his colleague and partner Khun Tik, offered me their VIP condo in Jomtien at what I think was a very good rate. I am quite happy to have taken them up on the offer. The baht buses were abundant and quick, and it was not at all inconvenient to go to and from the spots of interest in Pattaya. The room was very well-appointed, had fast and reliable internet service, a nice kitchen that I used extensively (I like to cook), and the thing I appreciated the most; an extremely comfortable and well-sized bed. I have never slept so well in Pattaya, and I have to say that it made a major difference in how much I enjoyed my overall stay. The guesthouses on LK are fine, but not in a one of them have I ever slept in what I would call a very comfortable bed. I had always attributed my poor sleep to the time zone change, too much drinking, etc., but none of those things bothered me at all while staying in Mr Dancewatcher’s VIP condo. Sleep is invaluable, and on this trip I slept as well as I do at home. The overall service was cordial, professional and on the up-and-up. I recommend this option without reservation and hope to stay in one of Dancewatcher’s properties on subsequent visits. LaMuerte Room 5-241 June 2010 Checked into the room for a one week stay. To start with, making the reservation and the check-in upon arrival was painless. The Dancewatcher team is excellent and accommodating. This unit was recently upgraded. The room was nicely appointed with a comfy bed, comfy couch/chair, nice bathroom layout and entertainment center. All in all an attractive unit. For those who have not stayed at View Talay 2 building A before. It is very central to being able to go to Pattaya or Jomtein via Baht Bus etc. The facility is very quiet, with a great pool and everything needed downstairs to keep organized (food, espresso bar, laundry, massage etc). Look forward to coming back! ROOM 5-241 41 Square Meters on the 5th floor View Talay 2 Building A Jomtien Sea Side May 2010 I rented this room long term and my lease just expired. The room had everything I needed including a king bed, room safe, a nice balcony that I could wave to the girls from and a full kitchen. This room was perfect for me and thank you for all your help over the year. WP October 2008 After receiving a recommendation from a current resident of VT2 I contacted Dancewatcher to book a reservation on less than three weeks notice. He hooked me up with great accommodations for the duration of my short stay in Jomtien. Room 5-1 proved to be more than sufficient for my needs given the amount of time I had for this short ten day vacation. I particularly liked the in-room internet connectivity as well as the full kitchen setup and hot running water in the bathroom no matter the time of day. The bed was very comfortable and there was not much in the way of outside hallway noise to contend with which made sleep very easy into the early afternoon. I definitely plan to contact Tik and Dancewatcher again when it comes time to book my next trip to Thailand. Mahalo Dancewatcher! If you are looking for a condo for a few days, weeks or years then contact DanceWatcher. Tik runs the rental bussiness and will make sure your stay is the best it can be. Tik's prices have been reasonable and she always takes care of any problems, what few they have been, and the units have all been very nice. Just leased a new one for 2 years. Jerry likatysp 2008 I rented this room from Miss Tik for a week sometime ago and I can remember the mattress was really great so unlike the cheap mattress you find in other rental rooms. Many paintings on the wall and the room was finished to a very high standard. I loved sitting outside in the morning and watching the girls returning home. I met a lot of girls this way by just saying hello from my balcony and they would turn around and come see me. I was new to Pattaya but DanceWatcher showed me around and it was so easy to get a taxi right outside the main gate. I might add that Miss. Tik is stunning in person and even sweeter then in her photos!!! Frank ROOM 11-530 ( 11-5 ) SEA VIEW 41 Square Meters on the 11th floor of View Talay 2 building A June 2010 I recently decided to go to Thailand and as I have traveled extensively around the world Backpacking I wanted to stay in some comfort .After some people on forums mentioned a couple of sites including Dancewatchers , I looked further and Dancewatchers had a good name ! I booked in VT2a 11-530 the room was spacious very clean and very well appointed .I found the bed to be wonderful,the fixtures to be tastefully done. The condo its fully tiled in a sandstone style with a white leather lounge. There is also a computer for use for those who want to check mail . A fully fitted out kitchen area including a full size fridge . The bathroom is tiled from floor to ceiling with a large shower area big enough for two with glass and stainless steel fittings and there are plenty of bath and hand towels with beach towels and spare bedding . my experience with Dancewatchers was great the booking process simple and any time I had a question I got a quick answer .I found the website informative and accurate ,and there where no hidden extra costs which was a surprise as there are always extras ! I'm planning another trip and I will be booking another room with Dancewatchers . The room and people are first class and I would recommend staying with them . May 2010 Dancewatchers Room 11-5 View Talay 2 A Having just stayed in this newly renovated and decorated condo for two weeks or so and now back home I thought it was time i wrote a small review of this room. For others looking to rent this room or any other. First of all i have stayed in three other rooms rented from Tik and all condo's have been first class. Room 11-5 is no difference, As stated before newly renovated. Everything is brand spanking new. I was the first occupant the day it was made available. Like all their other condo's the quality of the room fixtures and fittings is first class. The bed is top quality and the beds Tik uses must be amongst the best there is anywhere. The bedding and sheets were brand new. Plenty of cupboard space and wardrobe space and a fire safe in one of the cupboards. The wide screen TV with 60+ channels. The cd player with excellent sound reproduction. The condo its fully tiled in a sandstone color with a white leather lounge. Their is also a computer for use for those who want to check mail or keep up with local news back home. A fully fitted out kitchen area for those who would like to prepare dinner at home. The bathroom is tiled from floor to ceiling with a large shower area big enough for two with glass and stainless steel fittings and there are plenty of bath and hand towels with a large Beach towel as well. Their was no noise from adjoining condo's either side or above and this condo has double entry front doors and very little noise if any from the hallway. The view from this condo overlooks Jomtien to the south with a sea view and a view of the coastline soo you can sit out on the balcony and relax on the two chairs provided along with a small table. All in all this was another first class condominium. I would not hesitate in staying in this particular condo in the future [ along with any of dancewatchers.com other condos for rent ] And speaking to Tik and Dancewatcer about any subject either condo or Thai related or even gettting holiday information is easy because they live in the same complex and are a very nice couple to deal with. For me Jomtien VT2A is a good place to stay and Dancewatcher's condo's are in a class above many others for the same price. I hope you like your stay as much as i did Regards Michael B Australia ROOM 12-3 SEA VIEW 74 Square Meters 1 bedroom on the 12th floor of View Talay 2 building A 2008 The first time I come across the offer of the condos was when i was reading a popular website about pattaya nightlife .I already have arranged a room in pattaya but when i arrived i give her a call to show me the condos for maybe living there next trip. But when she showed me the rooms, (she has rooms for different budgets), I was just crazy for the one with 1 bedroom condo which had a livingroom with nice furniture and 2 bathrooms,so I just moved out of the room in pattaya and rented from Tik instead. The view from the livingroom and bedroom with the full glassed sliding doors are just great, both day and at night. The complex also has a really nice big swimming pool,with a restaurant. The first floor has laundry shops, a minimart, massage places, basicly all you need and dancewatcher is a nice guy who really tries to help me when i needed help with a couple of things. It was never a problem to call him when I was not sure about some things as he always tried to help. One thing I loved about the place was the location of Jomtien is really nice and close to a nice beach and its quiet but there are some nice bars very close to the building. When you want the crazy nightlife in Pattaya it is only a few minutes away by the baht bus but when you return home to the condo its really quiet and nice when you go to sleep.The baht busses to pattaya stop on the street right outside the gate to the building and its only 10 baht,and it is not a problem for bath busses back Jomtien at night either and the price is also 10 baht. It is a 5-10min ride with the taxi bath bus. I can really recommend the condos because i sure am having a great time here,and you get both Pattaya nightlife and the quiet and relaxness ofJomtien. Tik is a good landlady as there was never a problem when i asked dancewatcher or Tik for something.Thank you Miss Tik & dancewatcher for all the help when the newbie needed it . Oh, Dancewatcher arranged a Miss Tammy massage for me. Thomas Naslund aka Fucke1968 2008 Michael did a fine job with suggesting a room for my recent visit. The room was awesome. It had spectacular views and was reasonably priced. The room is very comfortable and with having two bathrooms it is also nice for company. The addition of a computer in the room was a great benefit. The only thing lacking was a printer, which I am sure is because of the hassle of making sure it was operating all the time. Upon check in the room was immaculately clean with plenty of spare towels which come in handy. The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked flawlessly. I would not hesitate to rent this room again and will definitely rent from Tik next time I am in town. Michael was a very gracious host and made sure that all my needs were met even when my travel plans changed unexpectedly. I have rented from another company in the same building but never was given this level of satisfaction. I highly recommend renting from Michael and Tik if at all possible. Daniel A K A Sawa D ROOM 12-4 SEA VIEW 37 Square Meter Studio on the 12 floor Sept 2009 I got recommended Dancewatchers apartments & services from two of Pattaya Addicts board members I met on a bar crawl and I am very happy with my stay in room 12-4. I think the room is good value for money and Dancewatchers helped me with taking care of what ever issues I had like hooking up the internet, organizing maid services to upgrading the UBC package. The location is in my mind perfect for someone who prefer not to live in the middle of the Pattaya action but still want to have convenient access to it. Walking street is 4-5 min by motorcycle depending on traffic. There is also easy access with baht bus just outside the building. I found the building to be very nice & have a secure feel to it. Plenty of security and not many 'dodgy' looking people running around. Amenities & services in the building such as pool, laundry, massage, convenience store & cafe was also nice to have and more than met my expectations. The room is very nice, clean and modern. The bed is great and something I wish I had in my own home. Bathroom is nice and modern with a great shower. Kitchen area is nice and sufficient to do throw together some food yourself. Internet was very good for Thailand standard but not great comparing to overseas services with the occasional downtime and dropouts. The room has a nice sea view from the 12th floor and can be enjoyed having a dinner at the table on the balcony or from the sofa area. I highly recommend this room but would expect you to be more than happy with any of Dancewatchers rooms since many of them are quite similar and the service would be the same for all of them. Daniel January 2008 I first came across an offer of condo rentals thru a popular website about Pattaya. I contacted Tiks Rental rooms on the site about renting one. She promptly sent me sample pictures of one of the condos. I was impressed with looks of the condo and also the monthly rate. I was however, skeptical of renting from someone I did not know and not being a property rental company. I had made reservations at a local hotel right outside Pattaya for two weeks and then realized that if I wanted to stay any length of time I would need to stay somewhere with a reasonable rate. I then contacted them and was fortunate that a condo was available that she could rent me. I was soon made comfortable when I met them and have been satisfied since, renting from her. Whenever there was a problem, she got back to me immediately and even helped set up my internet modem connection for me. I would highly recommend anyone who wanted to rent a condo here for she is someone who can be trusted. Thank you Tik & Dancewatcher for all your help when it was needed. Fred Miles AKA laafa ROOM16-0 SEA VIEW 37 Square Meter Studio on the 16 floor June 2009 The Condo had everthing one could want. The bed was a dream to sleep in and eveything , Air,Kitchen, View of the Golf of Siam was beautiful. The suroundings were great too, shops in the first floor for laundry, hair cuts, massages, a mini super market , and just a few steps away transportation to anywhere in Pattaya/Jomtien with trees between to make is nice and quite. I am very much looking forward to visiting again, with my Dear Wife Michael , Munich Germany August 08 I recently stayed in Condo 16-0 in the View Talay Condos and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The pre-stay experience was very pleasant, Dancewatcher is a great guy and was very helpful and happy to answer the smallest question about the Condo. Miss Tik even arranged for flowers to be put in the room before I got there (at my request, nominal fee). The room was great! It was clean and well furnished with good, solid mid range furniture, with a bed that I wish I had in my house. Kudos for the bed, it was awesome. The kitchen had all of the basic tools you would need, but who wants to cook? There are a TON of bars and restaurants within walking distance but the building remains very quiet. The bathroom was nice with plenty of towels, a blow dryer, and a roomy shower stall. The shower head was a bit low for my tastes, but that's standard in Thailand. The closet was good sized and there was plenty of room for my hanging clothes as well as a good amount of shelf space. Inside the closet was a safe that was bolted in (often where I have stayed before the safe is not secured to anything). The safe is not big enough to hold a full sized laptop, but the security in the building was very good and I left my laptop on the desk in the room the whole time and felt safe doing it. Overall I felt very safe on the View Talay 2 building A property. Miss Tik was very helpful during my stay. I ended up calling her several times and if she didn't answer right off, she returned my call within 15 minutes. This room has a FANTASTIC view of the ocean. The Internet connection was solid and I got transfer speeds you would expect from DSL. There are several laundry joints on the bottom floor of the building or you can call Tik to pick up the laundry and for maid service, along with a restaurant and a mini mart, all of which were very convenient. If you don't have a PC, or don't want to drag your laptop to Thailand, there are also a couple of Internet cafes on the bottom floor of the building. You can also arrange for Taxi's at the mini mart or one of the laundry places at a cost of 800 baht to the airport.. I'd rate my stay a 9 out of 10. (keep in mind 10/10 would be free women and booze =) Cheers Anthony ROOM 11-527 Jacuzzi Room October 2009 This was my second stay in this deluxe one bedroom unit at View Talaya 2 and the accommodations were even better the second time around! The most recent improvement included the addition of a high-tech Audio/Video system in the living room area complete with True Vision Cable television service. I was able to watch sports programming from around the world to include two NFL games per week from the states which was a pleasant surprise. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary implements/utensils to prepare meals which made my 38 day stay seem more like living at home. This deluxe eleventh floor unit also comes equipped with a large two person Jacuzzi in addition to spacious shower area which was put to use frequently! I also noticed an upgrade in the bedroom from my last visit with the addition of a new mattress which was exceedingly comfortable. Overall I would rate my stay in this unit as an A+ experience and I will certainly book this unit again for my next visit to the Pattaya area. August 2009 11-527 Jacuzzi Sea View Room I stayed in the exceptional Jacuzzi room 11-527. Without a doubt the best accomodation i have stayed in when i've visited the area. I couldn't have been looked after better by Tik. Anything i asked she took care off for me including the cleaning of the room, transfers from the airport and any local information i required. All rooms were first class in all aspects. The furnishings and interior were exceptional and to a very high standard and all the rooms were very spacious.The view of the Jomtien area was spectacular from both balconies. I would highly advise anyone looking to have both a place to relax and live while enjoying the surrounding area to look at this apartment seriously. I for sure will be using this apartment in the future. Mark ROOM 11-527 SEA VIEW 84 Square Meter One Bedroom March 2009 Room 11-527 Jacuzzi Room Recently spent two weeks in Jomtien at VT2 where I stayed in a deluxe one bedroom condo unit that had recently been extensively renovated to include installation of a two person jacuzzi in the bathroom. The unit is excellently maintained and very comfortably appointed offering all the comforts of home at a very reasonable price. The new flat screen AV system in the living room area is spectacular and the unit also has a desktop computer system in the bedroom which is hooked up to the internet. I plan on booking this condo unit again when i return to Thailand on vacation later this year. Thanks! William January 2009 ROOM 11-527 As usual when i stay in pattaya I booked a hotel room, I have done this since 1978 but I think it will change from now on. After reading in a forum about dancewatchers and the studios and condos I emailed Tik if there where soom rooms available. Within a few hours I got a reply and with it a very good deal for the 1-Bedroom condo 11-1 which I couldn't resist, so I canceled my hotel booking. I have to say it was the best thing I could do. It was really, really nice to stay in that condo and everything was perfect especially the jacuzzi and large LCD TV in the living room. They did a great job about the renovation of that condo. Nothing seems to be cheap and everything was top notch. No need to bring anything into the condo -besides food- because everything was there, and much more. The first day the internet was not working but after calling Tik this was fixed the next day. The view is very nice from there and there seems to be always a nice breeze of air, so no need to turn on the aircon...at least when I stayed there. The only bad thing was that I could stay in the condo and pattaya for only a few days!! thanks to Tik & Dancewatchers and the way they handle things. Hans 12-5 Room Review 1 March 09 I was looking for something cheaper then a hotel and with many doubts i decided to rent this room from dancewatcher. I did not know what to expect from a condo and from Tik because we have never rented from Tik's condo rentals before. We were welcomed by very nice people. Tik showed us the room and i can assure you the room is even better then you can tell from looking at the photos. Positive - very nice seaview. - aircon that you can control with temperature. - smal kitchen but we ( the lady ) did use it everyday - big fridge - powerful and always hot water - big and very good bed - safe - internetconnection - big tv and dvd - very good massage on the first floor - mutch cheaper then a hotelroom and a condo offer mutch more value negative - the last 10 days the building had minor problems with the TV cable connection but they were looking to fix that problem. - If you don't want to cook i can not recommend the restaurants downstairs. I think you are mutch better to go outside or order something from outside. We recommend this condo Tik is always available if you have questions or need help. So why don't you give it a try also? Stefan and Mon. ROOM 12-5 SEA VIEW 37 Square Meter Studio on the 12 floor July 08 Review and Trip Report I was looking at a lot of different locations to stay during my first time visit to Pattaya. Somehow I had difficult finding the right place to stay because there seemed to be missing something at each place I looked at. The combination of good location, swimming pool, ADSL high speed Internet connection, large TV, DVD, large fridge with freezer and balcony seemed almost impossible to find. I was really ready to give up on some of my requirements until I came across Miss Tik's website. I was delighted to find apartments with all the amenities that I had been looking for. I was a bit worried that I would not be able to book one of these apartments as it was only two days until my arrival in Pattaya. But with hope I sent an e-mail to Miss Tik with request of hiring one of the apartments during my stay. Only a few hours later I got a reply that Miss Tik would be able to help me out with an apartment for my stay. I listed all my requirements and got a recommendation of apartment 12-5 right away that contained all my requirements. I booked it right away to make sure that I would be able to rent it during my vacation. My only worry was that the apartment building was located in Jomtien instead of Pattaya, but this concern would soon be changed into believing that the location is just perfect. I really enjoy partying in Pattaya, but I also want to be able to sleep well during night and also not be bothered with all the noise that a place like Pattaya generates during daytime when I want to relax. I prefer to choose to visit Pattaya during evening or daytime when I will be in party mode, but the rest of the time I prefer the relaxation and the possibility to sit on the balcony and just enjoy myself. The 6-7 minutes trip it takes to get to Pattaya from Jomtien with a bath-bus is a non-problem in my opinion as there are more then sufficient baht-buses going to and from this place at any time during day and night. I would say that the longest I had to wait for a baht-us either direction is a couple of minutes. Normally the baht-buses spots me coming and stops before I even have managed to cross the street. So if any have any concerns about the location I would say that there are no need for that. I got a phone number to call when I was on my way from the airport and got to talk with Dancewatcher. He welcomed me to Thailand and told me to come to see him on my arrival. When I arrived at the building I was greeted by Dancewatcher and he invited me into his apartment. He gave me a cold drink and asked me if I had any questions regarding my stay in Pattaya. He even had checked the Pattaya-addicts.com board to see what concerns I had regarding my stay in Pattaya and answered those questions in addictions to the ones that I had there and then. After having had all my questions answered and concerns put to rest, Dancewatcher took me for a guided tour around the building so that I knew where to go for different needs. On the ground floor of the building there are lots of small shops and services like mini-mall, laundry services, Internet connection, beauty saloon, restaurants, massage and some that I probably have forgot about. There is also 24/7 security in the building to make sure that you feel safe at all times. If you bring back some ladies from Pattaya or even Jomtien as they have a good selection of bars as well, then you are free to register them if you want to. After having been given the grand tour of the building Dancewatcher took me to the condo that I was going to stay in. It was a pleasant surprise as the condo was just what I was looking for. Good size condo with kitchen, bathroom with shower, flat screen TV, air condition, DVD player, queen size bed, internet connection, a nice sofa with table and balcony with chairs and table. Just what I was looking for. Tik offered to have a massage girl to come to my room to give me a massage with a "Happy Ending". I was recommended this as I just had a long flight and was exhausted from having been traveling for about 24 hours. I agreed on this as the service sounded very tempting. After having unpacked and gotten out of the shower I got the message that the masseuse would be arriving in my room in 30 minutes. Needless to say that I was quite a bit excited to experience this massage and soon there were a knock on my door and outside stood a cute little Thai woman in her mid twenties and I right away invited her inside. Without going too much into detail of the massage as it would contain too many x rated descriptions I was amazed of this cute Thai lady and her services. She first gave me the full massage treatment and I enjoyed it tremendously as she really knew what she was doing. My body was massaged and nursed into shape again ready for Pattaya and what it had to offer me. The massage ended with a "Happy Ending" that I am sure that anyone can imagine what is containing. I will give Miss XXX a top rating as her services were just perfect and the ending still brings a smile to my face. The pool is just a pleasure to visit and right next to it there are a restaurant where you can order food and drinks to make sure that you will not have to leave the pool area for anything. There is even a separate pool section for kids to play and swim in so that they will stay safe and out of the way of the adults. There are sun beds to be hired for 50 baht pr day and you will get a mattress included in the price. Dancewatcher also wanted to present me to another newbie that had arrived in Pattaya a few days earlier so later in the afternoon he invited me and Graham up to his apartment for refreshments and a chat. After having chatted for a while we all went out for dinner and after Dancewatcher took us both for a guided tour of Pattaya. During my stay I have spent a lot of time in the company of Miss Tik, Dancewatcher and Graham and thanks to them I have been able to experience Pattaya to the fullest. They have invited me with them to different locations and made sure that I had a great time. I have now spent 1 and a half week of my stay in Pattaya with only one week left and I know that I am going to miss this place a great deal when I get back home. I could never have been more satisfied with my stay in Pattaya thanks to Miss Tik, Dancewatcher and Graham that have made my stay an unforgettable one. I hope that I will be allowed to call them my friends as I feel that it is exactly what they have been to me during my stay in Pattaya. I have already booked an apartment for my return visit in December. I will give Miss Tik's apartments and services the highest rating and my warmest recommendations for anyone that is planning a visit to Pattaya. I could not have been happier with my stay in Pattaya. I spent 5 outstanding days in Condo 16-1 was surprised at the ease of booking the condo and moving in once I arrived in Pattaya. It was the best five days I have spent in years. The condo is well decorated and very attractive. The bed was a great relief for my back and the and the walk-in shower made it easy for a portly gentleman as myself to use. The Pool was very inviting and all the amenities that View Talay 2 offers makes a vacation even more enjoyable. It was very easy to get to Walking Street from View Talay 2 and to a number of outstanding restaurants. I will never stay at another hotel when I vacation in Pattaya.... extraordinary experience at View Talay 2. The view was spectacular, the furniture comfortable (great bed!), and the furnishings complete. The ADSL Internet connection was fast. In short, this picky traveler found nothing to complain about. DW himself met me at the door, despite a rain-delayed late night arrival, and came down to say goodbye when I left. I didn’t need any assistance during my stay, but I’m confident it would have been provided with the same competence showed in every aspect of the experience. Titmouse/Thom Foreman July 2008 I had the good fortune of finding DanceWatcher's & Tik's Condo Rental Service prior to my first trip to Pattaya... When communicating with DW & Tik, they were always very responsive and quick to reply to my inquiries... After checking several hotels in Pattaya, I decided to try DW's & Tik's Condo Rental Service as the prices were excellent and by staying in Jomtien, I would be away from the craziness that is Pattaya City, while still only being 5 minutes away from the action via Baht Bus... Upon arrival in Pattaya, DW met me at the condos in Jomtien to help me get my feet on the ground, being a total newbie to Jomtien & Pattaya... The condo that I rented from Tik was first class... This was a new unit for Tik and had just been completely refitted with new furniture, fixtures and linens... The condo was on the 16th floor of the building, overlooking the Gulf of Siam... Hard to find in Pattaya City and much more expensive if you do locate a place this nice... The building has 24/7 security and visitors must give their ID cards to security prior to entry... The condo room also had ADSL internet service and satelite TV, which was a nice plus... The condo also has an excellent swimming pool, with pool-side restaurant that serves excellent food at reasonable prices... The condo building also has many other services / businesses on-site, including massage studios, laundry services, travel agents, restaurants and a conveninece store for those last minute items you need without having to leave the property... Their service did not stop there... Being a newbie in Pattaya, DW offered to take me and a few other newbies on a bar crawl through Walking Street... DW's guidance helped me to avoid some of the common mistakes that newbies so often make... Not to mention taking us to the hottest clubs in Pattaya... Places that would have taken me many trips to discover... All in all, I was very satisfied with DW's & Tik's service... So much so that I have booked 3 weeks with them over the Christmas Holidays in 2008... I just returned to the US after spending over two months in Thailand. On this trip I stayed in View Talay 2A and loved it! The building is very secure and quiet. The building has numerous minimarts, laundries, restaurants and massage shops. I really liked the mix of Thai families, ex-pats and western tourists. It actually felt like home there. Also the staff in the building are great! Transportation to and from Pattaya is easy as there are always both motorbike taxi's and baht buses available. I had to postpone my trip a couple of weeks due to an unexpected hospital stay, but Dancewatcher was able to move my reservations around on very short notice. We stayed in rooms 11-530, 18-866 and 17-786. They were all great. Plenty of sheets, towels and cooking accessories. Everything was perfect when we checked in and the transfers were painless. An added plus is that my girl really liked the rooms. I highly recommend renting a condo from Dancewatchers! DD USA April 2010 I arrived in Pattaya very late (approximately 2AM) and Tik was there to greet me immediately upon arrival. The location was fantastic, 5 minute walk to Jomtien Beach, 10 minute drive to walking street. This allowed me to have great access to the excitement of Pattaya, but also allowed me to get out of the madness and relax in the calm, quite atmosphere inside my room. The bed was very comfortable, allowing me to sleep with up to 3 "guests." The room also had access to approximately 300 television channels, high speed wirelses internet with pc, air conditioning, balcony, large shower. Outside a giant, clean swimming pool is there if you desire. I won't stay anywhere else in Pattaya after this experience. March 2010 Having been to Pattaya several times before over the last 10 years, but wanting something a little quieter and more private, on the recommendation of a friend who owns a property in Jomtien, I decided to rent a condo there for this last holiday in March 2010. Searching on Google brought up the interesting Dancewatchers website and I decided to give it a go. Following a phone call, the whole online booking experience couldn't have been easier and I paid my deposit by PayPal which gave me some peace of mind. A E-confirmation followed the same day with an attached Accommodation Voucher. When I arrived in Pattaya some two months later, it took just one phone call and we met in the lobby of the View Talay Building 2A, 10 minutes later. She took me directly to the room (VIP Room) which more than met my expectations and she answered all my queries regarding use of the computer and sound system, etc. The charming Miss Tik advised me about keys, etc. They then both left me in peace and assured me they were only a phone call away should I need anything. Check-out at the end of the stay couldn't have been easier and all my dealing with Dancewatchers were a pleasure and one I wouldn't hesitate to repeat. I would recommend this condo rental experience to anyone who is looking for privacy, (no walk of shame through reception here!), great facilities, (pool, laundry and restaurants and shops on site) and convenient location offering value for money. I have always stayed in hotels but have found them lacking in the comforts that I covet and believe me when I tell you that I have stayed in many of the hotels in Pattaya. My last stay was in one of your View Talay 2 units in building A. You were spot on when you told me this location was close to almost everything. I used my watch to time my trip by baht bus to Walking street from in front of the gate and it was 7 and a half minutes. I remember staying on Beach Road in Pattaya and it taking that long or more with all the traffic to get to Walking Street. I found one of my best girls; Won, just across the gate from View Talay 2 and we spent a lot of time together thanks to your translation services. Your services from check in to check out were just what I wanted. The room was very comfortable and I had all my requested creature comforts such as Computer, ADSL internet, LCD TV, Walk in shower, sea-view balcony, room safe, kitchen but the best thing was the high king bed with that ultra comfortable mattress! Small things like towels was such a surprise. There were a dozen or more of them and even beach towels. The room was quiet which was so different from the many hotels I have stayed in. I did not use your kitchen much but Won cooked a few Thai dinners for me. I did use your room service page for many massages and food deliveries. The pool was everything you said it would be. Large, clean and full of sexy Thai girls. Won was a big hit at the pool and enjoyed all the attention. She also enjoyed the photos that dancewatcher took of her. The rooms have all been great, in great condition and well cared for. She also has a wide range of rooms available so that you have plenty to choose from as long as you give enough notice. Length of stay is not an issue, she will rent by the day, week, month, even year if that is what you need. If you have specific room requirements, be sure to tell her and she will do her best to put you in a room that matches your requirements as close as possible. All of his rooms are a great deal for the price and he does not overcharge and there are no hidden charges. What sets this rental service apart is the personal attention you get from them. Kris (Paganheart)" JULY 2008 I decided to come to Thailand on very short notice, and luckily Tik could accommodate me as he is typically fully booked due to the great service provided by him and Miss Tik. I had picked out a studio room based on photos but on arrival Tik showed a larger room that I ended up taking instead. The rooms are all very nicely fitted out with everything you'd expect at home. In my unit there was a fully stocked kitchen, satellite television, and comfortable furniture. The bed was very nice, with a very high quality mattress. Plenty of towels and changes of linens were provided. Although only a few minutes away from Walking Street the room was very quiet, with high quality air conditioning and blackout curtains you can sleep in as long as you like. The View Talay 2 building in probably one of the best places to stay for a visit to either Pattaya or Jomtien. There are plenty of amenities available on the ground floor, including a few restaurants, laundry, a convenience store, and a great pool. In the lobby there is security, and outside there is plenty of parking. A five minute walk across the street will take you to the Jontiem Complex, where you can find even more resultants, scooter rental, and an even bigger convenience store. If you don't want to leave your rooms there are many restaurants and even a grocery store that will deliver. Best of all you are no more than ten minutes away from the action in either Pattaya or Jontiem. Right outside the condo gates you can get a baht bus to take you directly to Walking Street. There is great continuous baht bus service between Pattaya and Jontiem with almost no waiting ever. The baht bus from Jontiem runs the whole length of Second Road, making it more convenient to stay at View Talay 2 then many hotels in Pattaya. Michael and Tik are very friendly and gave me some great pointers to make the best of my trip. Even when I had a problem with my room (caused by me) at 2am in the morning Michael fixed it within ten minutes. I will certainly plan to stay in Michael and Tik's condos in the future. Graham 2008 My name in Angel, I have stayed in a few of Tik's condos in the past years, they are always clean, outstanding and great place for the Puyings. The accomodations are spacious and way better than any hotel in Pattaya plus the view and locations are a plus. The beds are queen or king with plenty of pillows and clean sheets. The view from the balcony is breathtaking specially at night. The internet connection are fast and the computer great in all of his condos. Prices are reasonable and in my opinion way better than any other place in Pattaya or Jomtien. Jomtien is just a 10 minutes ride on a bathbus. Tik is available always and she responde to any of my request fast and friendly. I can't see any other option other than Tik's condos. Angel (Dagaman) ROOM18-2 (866 ) SEA VIEW 37 Square Meter Studio on the Top floor July 09 The room is located at the top floor (18th) and it has a nice sea view. The Fact that it’s on the top floor seems to impress the ladies. The furniture is also good especially the bed, big enough for 3. The Kitchen has every thing you need. The bath room is nice as well with a great shower that would be even better if a pump was installed for extra pressure. The pool is perfect, big and the water is at a perfect temperature. The pool side restaurant has ok food and drinks for ok prices. Location, It’s about 5 minutes away from walking street and if you take a baht bus It will cost you around 20 baht and you never have to wait more than 15 seconds for one to arrive. When going home stand on the right side of The street outside marine 2 disco and catch a baht bus that others are jumping on then you get home for 20 baht otherwise you can hire a motor bike or baht bus to bring you back. Yeah, you forgot to contact Tik's rental rooms at dancewatchers@yahoo.com to reserve a fine place to stay. That's okay, drop her an email or call asap! This happened to me as I was marooned in India. Not a fun place to be. An email to them and she saved the day. DanceWatcher also shipped me two photos that burned into my memory: a great unit. I sent him a confirmation to HOLD! I was enroute! My bacon was saved, whew. Tik's places are in Jomtien and if you are a newbie or seasoned Pattaya Pro, then you owe yourself a stint at one of Tik's View Talay units. You are several kilometers south of all the fun of Walking Street. I stayed 3.5 months and they were some of the best times of my life. Guranteed. I still smile, stuck in FarangLand. The View Talay units are self-contained gems: good security, good access, parking, clean, quiet and shops for any need. At the base of these multi-storey units are many various and sundry shops: bars, laundry, internet, pizza places, restaurants, grocery stores, you-name-it. No need for a trip into town. If you rent a scooter, there is ample parking, covered and not. Good security. If no motoscooter, then you just walk out and grab a baht bus into town. Or just walk to the many clubs and offerings in Jomtien. About a 5-10 minute stroll to AdventureLand! There is no perfect place to live, but Tikl's units come pretty darn close. I was loathe to depart, duties in FarangLand were pressing. I swam DAILY in the VT's most excellent swimming pool. I miss it as I type this. For the splasher or serious lap swimmer, the View Talay pools are top notch. They are not rectangular with lane markers, but they do get the job done. The outside showers are a plus. Eateries and bathroom facilites at the pool. Sun or shade, your call. A great space to have some friends over or hang by yourself . Everyone hits the wall sooner or later in Pattaya and what-you-do? You hang out at the pool all day, reading! I never tired of this. Or reading, or knocking back a cold one. Jomtien is a respite from the 24/7 party that you already know about. Sometimes, it's great just to kick back and relax. At home. View Talay. Details: Tiled shower bathroom unit. Ample kitchenette which I never used, what for? You're in Thailand and every meal out is a TREAT! Great 'fridge, which I used all the time. Dishes, plates, glasses and all the usual stuff you need but don't bother packing. Bring a padlock for the room safe. The room is cozy as well as spacious-----ie, just right! When Thai girls want to move in with you, you know it is a great space. Your call. Comfy queen-sized bed with linen and two nightstand tables with light on each side. There's a great secretary/desk. I brought my laptop, fired up my speakers from Tukcom and had great sound for my DVD movies and music while having fun with the girls. Small balcony, not bad. Good to check the weather. Aircon unit. Light-proof drapes, sleep until 5pm! TV and towels. Tiled floor in throughout the unit. WiFi Internet available. Many netcafes available throughout Jomtien and Pattaya. You arrive in Pattaya and wish to be on the net, what? What would I do different if I had to do it all over? I'd buy a fan, or check to see if one was available. I love the night air of Jomtien.....clean and fresh. I just want a slight breeze while I sleep after a tough day in Thailand, is there such a thing? And a touch of white noise. Great ventilation otherwise. Did I forget anything? Oh yeah, stairs as well as lifts. I used the steps more than I thought I would. Helluva place to call home. I was shocked when Miss Tik opened the door to greet me wearing her French Maid uniform. She looks better up close then in the photos and her English skills are top notch. She showed me around the room and I loved it. The mattress alone was worth the rent. Special lighting had been installed with dimmer controls everywhere. The view of the Jomtien Beach was great and later I discovered the night time view with all the Jomtien lights was good as well. The room came complete with all the amenities one could possibly wish for, Very large Flat Samsung LCD TV with 2 DVDs, UBC & Cable TV, Computer with high speed internet and flat LCD screen, printer, 4 person shower and also a very large Jacuzzi with special lighting. There is a full Kitchen with a 4 burner flat top with a German Stove. Just too much to list. The maid service was first rate. Thanks Miss Tik and Dancewatcher for a great stay and I will be back. The view from the balcony covers the lovely light of the bar area below at night with a background ocean view. Having a washing machine in the room was great, and free high speed internet was a very nice bonus. The room is exceptionaly clean and well designed. The wall mirror in the bedroom offers for fun experiences. TV and channels great and the kitchen has enough pot, pans, and tools to create fine food. DW and Tik were happy to answer and assist in all a newbies, such as myself, questions. The pool and bar down stairs offers an opportunity to enjoy cool water and intermingle with a wide range of people. With everything that anyone would need in the building or within walking distance I don't know why anyone would stay anywhere else. I know that my next trip, I will only be staying with DW and Tik. September 2008. I selected this room because of the photos on Dancewatcher's website. When I walked into the room I was shocked. The room looked even better then the photo's I had looked at. I loved the place and will book this room on my return visit.
